It’s time for a fashion update right NOW, as today Dior announced something very important what will make the Belgian Fashion addicts extremely proud!
More than a year ago, John Galliano (which I truly admirer) got fired by Dior after complaints were lodged with the police about the racist and anti-Semitic behavior of the designer. Now, Dior finally announced the designer which will replace Galliano as artistic director in ‘The House of Dior’. His name is Raf Simons and he’s a Belgian fashion designer who started his career with one of the most famous Belgian designers, Walter Van Beirendonck. Simons will be responsible for the haute couture collections, confection clothing and the feminine accessories, says Dior. His first haute couture collection will be seen in Paris in July 2012.
