Tim Walker created an imaginative story with a spooky mix of oversized insects for ‘Love Magazin’, featuring Kristen McMenamy. There’s a couple of chain mail headdresses from the Royal National Theater, some vintage Dior couture and also a bit of Alexander McQueen. We saw Kristen earlier in my post about Lagerfeld’s shortmovie ‘The tale of a fairy’, in which she plays one of the protagonists, but this time she resembles an otherworldly, monster slayer.
This shoot is amazing, original and more interesting than the average fashion shoots. It holds something macabre and scary, but at the same time there’s a lot of emotion and intensity in these pictures which intrigue me incredulously.
